Chrome Extension Privacy Policy

This policy covers the MrInterviews – LinkedIn Job Import browser extension (“the Extension”). It supplements our main Privacy Policy.
What the Extension does
When you click Import to MrInterviews on a LinkedIn job page you are viewing, the Extension reads the visible job title, company name, description, and page URL from that page, then opens MrInterviews with that information so you can practice for that role.
Data the Extension accesses
- LinkedIn job page content you choose to import — title, company, description, and job URL, only when you trigger Import.
- Extension settings — your optional MrInterviews app URL preference, stored in Chrome sync storage on your devices.
What we do not do
- We do not collect your LinkedIn password or session cookies.
- We do not scrape LinkedIn in the background or when you are not importing.
- We do not sell Extension data or use it for advertising.
- The Extension does not track your general browsing history.
Where imported data goes
Imported job text is sent only to the MrInterviews app URL you configure (by default https://mrinterviews.com) via a one-time handoff in the browser. After that, use of the job posting in the app is covered by our main Privacy Policy.
Permissions
- storage — save your preferred MrInterviews app URL.
- linkedin.com — show the Import button and read the job you choose to import.
